Paperlab Gallery

Our PaperLab Gallery has been operating in the bookstore of Mai Manó House since May 2019. The focus of this small yet progressive gallery space is the photo-based work of such international artists whose main medium of publication is the photobook, an increasingly important medium of photography. PaperLab aims to provide visitors with an international perspective and introduce them to works that represent fresh aesthetics, sensitivities, and insights. In addition to exhibitions focusing on photobooks, the gallery also provides space for special installations that promote the history of Hungarian photography.

After the exhibitions, the featured publications can be found in the Pécsi József Library of Photography and can be purchased in the bookstore.

Each exhibition is on view for six weeks and is free to visit.
