19th August marks the birth of photography around the world, 184 years ago on this day one of the first photographic processes, the daguerreotype, was introduced to the world to use this revolutionary new technology to make pictures.

To mark the anniversary, the Hungarian House of Photography – Mai Manó House is making the closing day of its exhibition Like You and Me - Young Hungarian Photography free of charge.
