The book entitled The Photography and the Love Poem 1975 –1995 was edited by Orshi Drozdik and published by the Hungarian House of Photographers – Mai Manó House on the occasion of the exhibition of the same title. The three-hundred-and-twenty-page book offers a large-format selection of Drozdik's photographic works. It presents the artist's early self-reflexive and feminist conceptual series from 1975 to 1995. Also on show for the first time is the series Glances and Sighs, made between 1976 and ’78. Love poems, much used before and after, are an integral part of this experimental series of photographs. The rich pictorial material is accompanied by a biography in English and Hungarian, a bibliography and a study by art historian Lili Boros, while the graphic design is the work of Endre Koronczi.
